ABOUT MACK MAJOR

Mack A. Major, III, is the Founder and CEO of Resilient Financial Group, House Tur Investments, and Major Investments; three companies dedicated to the revitalization of quality real estate ventures and wealth building for emerging and midsized investors.

Mack is a sales and marketing professional with global leadership experience along with and established track record of of meeting or exceeding targeted profitably and growth objectives by effectively managing customer expectations. Consistently implements strategies that identify and capitalize on market opportunities which in turn increase product value and brand visibility. Creative and dynamic change agent with the proven ability to overcome complex challenges and implement initiatives that simplify and improve standard processes. Strong leadership, interpersonal and coaching skills that build and developed highly focused teams and deliver results.

SHERRI L. FRANKLIN

As the Founder & CEO of Urban Design Center, Sherri Franklin champions its core mission to provide strategic thought leadership to non-profit organizations, government agencies and private developers working to catalyze resilient rebranding of urban environments and sustainable economic opportunities for people of color. Over the past 30 years, UDC has managed the land-use entitlement, capital development and project management for over $200 Million in affordable housing, infrastructure improvement, economic development and enterprise expansion projects. The recent launch of UDC's online Resiliency Studio is a culmination of its work building the internal capacity of organizations and businesses and serves as a shared brain trust of "how to" elements for transformation visions into reality.

Sherri led the launch of Concerned Citizens of South Central Los Angeles affordable housing and economic development efforts, raised capaital and provided project management services for Legal Aid Foundation of LA South LA office and Westlake headquarters, procured state grants for the Inner City Arts campus on Skid Row and secured federal grants for the development of the AltaSea @ Port of LA blue economic incubator. For over 20 years, UDC has served as the Boys and Girls Clubs of the LA Harbor consultant overseeing the grant development and construction of six of their projects. UDC is also a noted Business Improvement District Consultant in LA having formed both the Central Avenue Historic BID and the Greater Leimert Park Village Crenshaw Corridor BID.

Sherri is an 18 year member of the Pacific Coast Regional Small Business Development Corp. Loan committee that approves California funded loan guarantees, the Co-founder of the Think and Grow Lab which created a 100,000 sq ft social equity cannabis incubator. She was appointed to the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Board in January 2019 where she serves on their small business committee and PAC. Sherri is a partner in a cannabis consumption lounge venture in West Hollywood. She is also the Chief Visionary Officer for Resilient Financial Group. In 1992, Mayor Tom Bradley tapped Sherri to serve as Vice Chair on the Board of Zoning Appeals. In 1993, she was appointed by Mayor Richard Riordan to the LA Dept of Transportation Commission where she served as President, and, thereafter, to the LA Housing Department Rent Stabilization Commission Board in 1995. Sherri Received a BA in Anthropology from UCLA. Sherri has been a California Real Estate Licensee since 1989 and a broker since 1997.
